eagle eye cherry always reminds me of camp. whenever I hear "save tonight" its a mixture of sadness... but at the same time dread? because i used to hear it so much. but i am going to listen to the other songs you recommended because i trust your taste bam!
OHHHhh and evanescence i agree can make your ears feel like they are full of crap. BUT. Amy Lee (the lead singer)'s voice is amazing, and its haunting and melodic and carries really well. So thats what makes them listenable to me, but i like all types of music : ) except for like, folksy folk ex hippie mind mush music. and yes that is a genre.
